My Story
Ashley Cullen-Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor and wellness practitioner dedicated to creating spaces where people can heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. With nearly a decade of experience in mental health, school counseling, program leadership, and trauma-informed community work, Ashley brings both clinical expertise and deep empathy to every room she enters.

She is the Founder of Honey B. Wellz and the creator of The Honey Method—an approach inspired by collective healing, community wisdom, and the power of emotional safety. Ashley has facilitated hundreds of workshops on trauma-informed leadership, burnout prevention, resilience, cultural healing, communication, and youth development for schools, nonprofits, and organizations across Illinois.

Ashley currently serves as Senior Program Director at Brushwood Center, where she leads innovative, healing-centered programs rooted in nature, the arts, and wellness. Her work bridges mental health, community development, environmental healing, and cross-sector collaboration.

At her core, Ashley believes that everyone deserves a safe space to feel seen, heard, and restored—especially those who care for others. Her mission is simple: help people heal, help teams reconnect, and help communities thrive.
